What to Expect

Climbing

Our retreats are designed for climbers of all experience levels, from those stepping outside for their very first climb to experienced climbers looking to refine their skills and build confidence on the rock.

Before each retreat, you'll receive a participant questionnaire where you can share your climbing experience, personal goals, and what you hope to gain from the trip. This allows our guides to tailor instruction and provide a personalized experience that supports your growth throughout the retreat.

No matter where you're starting, our goal is to help you learn, challenge yourself, and leave feeling more confident than when you arrived.

Our Home Base

During the retreat, we’ll stay at Land of the Arches Campground, located just minutes from Muir Valley and our climbing areas. The campground offers a welcoming community space where you can relax, connect, and recharge after a day on the rock.

Amenities include Wi-Fi, a shared indoor gathering area, community kitchen, bathrooms, hot showers, and an indoor pickleball court. If you plan to use the kitchen, please bring your own cookware, utensils, and other essentials. Be sure to pack a towel if you’d like to use the showers.

A detailed packing list will be provided before the retreat so you can arrive prepared and ready for the weekend.

Meals

Supporting local businesses is an important part of the experience. we partner with local restaurants and businesses to bring you food that reflect the region.

Saturday evening dinner is included, giving us time to relax, reconnect, and share stories after a full day on the rock. Participants are responsible for all other meals throughout the retreat.

We do our best to accommodate dietary needs and food restrictions. You'll have an opportunity to share this information in your pre-retreat participant form so we can plan accordingly.
