Athe Torri Cervantes

They/Them
has been climbing for nearly two decades and has made Moab and The Creek their seasonal home since choosing the dirtbag life. They’ve lived, worked, and—most importantly—climbed there for twelve straight years, endlessly drawn back by crack climbing and the desert landscape. A Filipino immigrant who came to the United States in their early teens, Gerry spent years assimilating into “American life.” That journey revealed how crucial representation and belonging are, and now they bring that perspective into everything they do on the rock—actively championing diversity, visibility, and access in climbing and the outdoors so more people from all backgrounds feel welcome
